We will not get Lataji back -- her melodious, divine, phenomenal voice and her extraordinary musical talent; she was one and unique. But we have a new generation singer whose voice has good reflection of Lataji. She is Saritha Rahman of Kerala who has been a true follower and fan of Lataji all her life. The industry could use this sweet, talented and dedicated singer in playbacks but it is not done for some reason. This is unfortunate. Saritha should be given chance in Bollywood too. Lataji would be happy to see there is someone, although never equal to her, as her hair. India is a fertile land of music, most fertile in the whole world.
